Since 2009 Interior Chicago has been serving clients with interior design and professional organizing.

We work with residential and commercial clients to transform their spaces into spectacular, livable places. Our approach is hands-on, even with our new E-Design services, and we pride ourselves in functional, livable spaces.

We were recently a featured up and coming design firm by Homeclick.

Kate Marengo

Kate Marengo
Founder, President and Designer

Kate founded Arranging Order (Interior Chicago's predecessor) in 2009. in 2015 Interior Chicago was rebranded as we shift focus from organizing to orderly design.

She received her Masters of Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago in 2007, with an emphasis on visual arts.

Inspired by unique spaces that reflect one's personality, she feels most rewarded by helping her clients feel great about their space.  She also has a keen love affair with work by Frank Lloyd Wright and Louis Sullivan.

Kate lives in Chicago with her husband, daughter, dog, and two kitties.

Claire Gillman
Project Manager & Designer

Claire graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan with degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Advertising and Marketing Communications.

Her background is in visual merchandising and project management.  She brings her knowledge of fabrics and color trends to her interior designs.   Having decorated varied spaces, from small Manhattan studios to single family homes, Claire has experience using space wisely to create practical, organized homes.

When not designing, you can find Claire exploring the city or dancing away at a concert!

Stephanie Weinstein
Project Manager & Designer

Stephanie graduated with a Bachelors of Science from The University of Illinois with a concentration in Human Development.

She found her love of furnishings and design while working at a high end retailer and has spent the last three years working in the rental furniture world. She found a love for staging homes and creating beautiful models for her clients during that time. She is now focusing solely on her favorite aspect of her previous position which is exceeding her clients expectations through design. She brings her passion for designing stylish yet functional spaces to every project.

You can find her enjoying her non working hours having fun in the city with her husband and two daughters.

Joanna Quealy
Project Manager & Designer

Joanna Quealy received her Bachelor's of Arts in Marketing Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Columbia College Chicago.

Her background includes program management in education and in the arts. These roles allowed her to share her love of learning, creating and collaborating.

As a (mostly) stay at home mom for the past few years Joanna found herself organizing, reorganizing & rearranging to make space for her 2 growing sons. Not surprisingly, she loved this and is happy to help Interior Chicago clients create functional, inspired spaces.

Joanna lives on the Southside of Chicago with her husband, 2 boys and 2 fish.
